The HDi engine reduces fuel consumption. HDi is more economical than previous diesel engines and facilitates more complete combustion. Thanks to the Common Rail system’s injection at very high pressure (up to 1,800 bar), the constant and well distributed, very fine atomisation of the diesel fuel facilitates a more even and complete combustion, thereby providing better performance.
